1. Introduction
Welcome to Claryo (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking our services or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
2. Services
• Claryo acts as an intermediary, connecting customers (“you”) with independent cleaning contractors (“Contractors”).
• While we carefully select and vet our contractors, all cleaning services are carried out by them directly.
• Service details (type, date, duration, and pricing) are confirmed at the time of booking.
3. Bookings
• Bookings can be made via our website, email, or phone.
• You are responsible for providing accurate information (address, access details, service requirements).
• We will confirm all bookings by email.
Accuracy of Bookings
• All bookings must accurately reflect the property size and service type required.
• If a client provides incorrect information (e.g., property size) and has already paid a lower rate/quote, the contractor is not obliged to complete the job. In such cases, the Company reserves the right to retain the payment.
• If incorrect information is discovered:
• Before Claryo confirmation: Please contact us as soon as possible, no fees will apply.
• After Claryo confirmation but more than 48 hours before the job: The booking may be amended or rescheduled without penalty.
• Within 48 hours of the job: The rescheduling or cancellation policy will apply.
• Within 24 hours or same day: The standard same-day cancellation policy applies.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations may result in a reduced refund, as outlined below:
Same Day / Less than 24 Hours Before Service:
50% refund issued.
24–48 Hours Before Service:
75% refund issued.
More Than 48 Hours Before Service:
Full refund issued.
Client Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests should be made as early as possible. Fees may apply depending on the notice period, as outlined below:
Same Day / Less than 24 Hours Before Service:
Rescheduling is only possible if the contractor is available.
A 20% rescheduling fee applies.
24–48 Hours Before Service:
Rescheduling is possible if the contractor is available.
A 10% rescheduling fee applies.
More Than 48 Hours Before Service:
Rescheduling is free of charge.
* Rescheduling is only possible if another contractor is available. If we are unable to assign a contractor to the new time, the standard cancellation policy will apply.
Contractor Cancellations
If a contractor cancels:
• We will attempt to reassign another contractor.
• If we cannot, you will receive a full refund or a rebooking (your choice).
• If the cancellation is last-minute, you may receive a discretionary discount on your next booking.
5. Payments
• Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
• Payments are processed securely via Monzo and Stripe.
• Contractors will only be paid once the service is completed satisfactorily.
6. Liability
• Claryo is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from services provided by contractors.
• Contractors are self-employed and hold their own liability insurance.
• Clients are responsible for securing valuables, fragile items, and ensuring safe access to the property.
7. Service Standards
• Contractors are expected to arrive on time, act professionally, and perform services to agreed standards.
• If you are dissatisfied with the service, you must notify us within 24 hours. We will investigate and may offer a partial refund, discount, or re-clean depending on circumstances.
8. Client Responsibilities
• Provide safe and timely access to the property.
• Inform us of any special requirements (alarms, pets, restricted areas, etc.).
• Ensure that the property is safe to work in.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
